Brook Homes acquired this redundant brownfield site adjacent to a local reservoir on an entirely unconditional basis.
We subsequently provided advice in respect of optimum unit sizes and likely sales values, however, despite an officer's recommendation, the resultant planning application for 12 houses was refused at local level.
Brook Homes successfully appealed against the decision and we were instructed to dispose of the consented site. Our marketing campaign generated several attractive offers, but Aylesford based developers, Knowle House Ltd, proved too strong for their competitors.
Contracts were exchanged and completed promptly, and construction is now underway.
