Land Agent

Candidates need not have any direct property development experience, although knowledge of the property industry is preferable. The role involves identifying and securing suitable instructions and thereafter co-ordinating all aspects of the acquisition or sale of land and property suitable for residential or mixed-use development.

The ideal candidate will have:

Business development skills
Project management skills
A flair for new ideas and opportunities
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Motivation, drive and determination
Experience of the property industry an advantage
Full driving licence essential and own car

Key Responsibilities and activities:

Identification of suitable sites
Appraisal and valuation of potential sites
Liaising with architects / planners / local authorities, etc
Demonstrating to land owners how to maximise the value of their property and securing instructions to act on their behalf
Liaising with contractors, leaseholders and landlords
Acting on behalf of purchasers in the acquisition of sites from 1 to 1000+ units
Building and maintaining relationships with branch staff, managers, developers, etc
Motivate Branch Managers and staff to pass on land enquiries
