Mortgage Broker

To be considered, our Mortgage Brokers must be Cemap-qualified or have equivalent financial services qualifications, with one years' experience working within the mortgage market, in a financial institution, for a mortgage broker, estate agent, or related industry within the UK.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of working in a target-driven, customer-focused environment
Proven track record of sales
Expert knowledge of the mortgage and insurance industry
Business development skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Motivation, drive and determination
A full clean driving licence and be a car owner

Key responsibilities and activities will include:

Developing and maintaining a client base with a view to securing lending business and to cross-sell other financial products throughout 18 estate agency branches (Life & General)
Maximising mortgage sales potential with a proactive approach to business development
Achieving high-level lending targets across various market segments through professional packaged cases in a timely fashion
Developing new business relationships
